About Me

Artist Statement 

I am an Afrikaan American, half Nigerian, Half African American disabled artist. But I “identify” as a loving, living Christian artist. 

I say living because I carry many autoimmune diseases and chronic pain illnesses with me but I get up at 6 am , workout for 4 hours, paint, share, encourage others on and off social media.

I AM a poet.

But I identify as loving because I believe that I have gifts. Gifts are given by God for us to share.

This is how I am loving.

I am 42 and I want nothing more than to show others love. So, even when I am hospitalized my goal is to encourage the nurses, the doctors and the patients that there is LIFE beyond those white walls and a simple smile can change the course of their day!
