Priestly Robes

This piece, abstract in nature, is meant to show the divinity of Christ’s nature. He, the Son, was expected by His brothers to arrive in priestly robes of purple which represented royalty. The irony in this statement is that I would know my brother if he were present and his clothing wouldn’t matter. Clothing should be used to cover us and not to identify us.

My first ‘garbage painting.’

I made this one completely of repurposed and recycled materials. It is on display in the SHAPE gallery in Pennsylvania.

My identity

This is my first painting!


I look at it now and I see that my technique was terrible. It was painted on the inside of a cereal box that I covered with flour and water. I painted the image also with coffee. I was depleted of funds and I only knew that God told me to paint.


I heard a quote, “find your happy place.”

But since Jesus found me and has found me and become my ID, I have found that EVERY PLAC
